Quick description of the book for a new reader - what should they expect?
  • It's a romp through a medieval world of high fantasy.
What was your inspiration for this book?
  • My inspiration really was my first book, SPACE and Stuff, I wanted to do a variation of that in a different setting.
Which authors do you admire? How have they influenced your writing style?
  • Douglas Adams, and Terry Pratchett, it's obvious in my books how they influence my writing
Can you tell us a little about the locations in your book?
  • Your standard high fantasy fair really, mountains, caves, medieval city's.
What advice would you give to aspiring authors?
  • Write for yourself about what interests you.
Could you talk a little about your writing process?
  • I treat it like any other job, write for 5-6 hours a day then do all my other stuff around it.
Which character has had the greatest impact on readers?
  • I can't say without giving spoilers away.
If the book were to be adapted for TV or film, who would you see in the lead role? Who did you have in your mind’s eye ?
  • Maybe Jack Whitehall as Jasper.
How have readers responded ?
  • They love it, a lot are liking it to the quest for they holy grail, by monty python, huge praise as I love that film.
Where next? What are you working on now?
  • I'm nearly ready to finish the apocalypse blockers series, I just need a couple more characters so I'll be working on a few more blockers worlds next.
