Quick description of the book for a new reader - what should they expect?
- It's the story of how two of the main characters in the apocalypse blockers series met and fell in love.
What was your inspiration for this book?
- I left a big hole in the book ,Apocalypse Blockers, that I always intended to fill with the story of how Bob met Karen, it was too big of a story to include in Apocalypse Blockers.
Which authors do you admire? How have they influenced your writing style?
- Douglas Adams, if you read any of my books that is self explanatory.
Can you tell us a little about the locations in your book?
- It's the opposite end of the Galaxy, there's some odd and peculiar worlds involved.
What advice would you give to aspiring authors?
- Writing a great book is a lot easier than selling a great book, be prepared for a long hard slog.
Could you talk a little about your writing process?
- A relentless march onwards, I just fire out 3-6k a day no matter what. At the end of every book I take 2 weeks to plot and outline the next one then carry on.
Which character has had the greatest impact on readers?
- Karen, she's very relatable.
If the book were to be adapted for TV or film, who would you see in the lead role? Who did you have in your mind’s eye ?
- Nobody really, although I would like to see Lee Evans as Bob.
How have readers responded ?
- They loved it, they are eager to see how ghe last part of the series plays out.
Where next? What are you working on now?
- I have a few more characters I want to add into the apocalypse blockers multiverse so I'll be working on a few of them next before the finale.
